Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Interval Timer ("the App") handles user data.

Data Collection by the App

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All user preferences and settings are stored locally on your device only and are not shared externally.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google.

AdMob may collect and process data such as:

This data is used to provide and improve advertising, including personalised ads where you have given consent.

If you choose not to consent to personalised advertising, non-personalised ads may still be shown.

User Consent (GDPR / UK GDPR)

For users in the UK and EEA, the App uses Google's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) to request consent for personalised advertising.

When you first use the App, you may be asked to choose whether to receive personalised ads.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by:

Your choices will be respected and applied to future ad requests.

Your Rights

US State Privacy Rights

For users in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other US states with applicable privacy laws, the App uses Google's consent framework to provide notice and, where required, the ability to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data (as defined by applicable laws) by AdMob.

You can review or change your choices at any time via Settings → Privacy Options.

For more information on how Google processes data under US state laws, see Google's Privacy & Terms.

UK and EEA users (GDPR / UK GDPR) rights

Because the App itself does not collect personal data, most of these rights apply to data processed by Google AdMob. To exercise them with Google directly, visit Google's privacy controls.

Legal basis for advertising

Where you have given consent (UK/EEA), personalised ads are served on the basis of that consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Where consent is not given or not required, Google may serve non-personalised ads on the basis of legitimate interest, where permitted by applicable law.

Third-Party Privacy Policy

Data Retention

The App stores no personal data and therefore has no retention period to disclose.

Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own policies. See Google's data retention information for details.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. For significant changes affecting how your data is processed, the App's consent mechanism will request your choices again where required by law.
